Margarita & Tequila Tips, by Mi Pueblo Mexican Restaurants
Do you know Tequila?

Making Tequila is based on century old techniques that reflect the Hispanic culture.
If you think that Tequila is just another cheap spirit to get drunk, you are wrong. As aperitif it opens your appetite, but it also finishes a typical Mexican dinner, helping you to digest.
Of course you find it in bars all over our country, bottled in many places of the world, but the real Tequila can only come from Mexico. If it says on the bottle that it is made somewhere else, it simply isn't Tequila.
Why? Well, because Tequila is made with the Blue Agave Tequilana plant which is only found in Mexico, and the Jimandores harvest only plants that are 8-10 years old!
There are three kinds of Tequila: Blanco, Reposado and Anejo - but this is another story:)
